Re: Goultard special and behind the scenes.

How big is Ankama anyway? I didn't think it was much bigger than the animation studio, which we always see, and the warehouse, but now it seems like there's well over 300 employees in the place, and it makes Valve's studios look small by comparison.

Goultard special and behind the scenes.

It was good to finally see it, though I only understood as much as one might expect. The inside ankama bit actually challenged the goultard short for me though, I kept on trying to pick out all the graphics from the ordinary bits of the ankama offices, and that meant I was more intensely absorbed wi...

Re: Talk about everything and nothing

Well 'the Champs-Elysees is a busy street' so pop songs tell me, and given the event got reported all the way over here I'd imagine it was busier still. ....so they were a little disappoi, craft industry... ) and other things. That last sentence got a bit garbled, but thanks for asking! ;) As for th...

Re: Animation bit involving shouting and console controllers.

Many thanks for your efforts!

Edit: And may I say this is quite a singular experience to have such support for different languages. It's really good to see a creator working with 'fansubbers' dynamically like this.

Re: Talk about everything and nothing

That's a downright intimidating number of bikes! I'd ride more, you know, but then I have no way of carrying my portfolios without turning into a pedal-powered light aircraft. o_o As it is in a fierce wind I nearly became airborne with my A2 art folder. Sometimes I wish the petrol prices would go up...

Animation bit involving shouting and console controllers.

Look, moving picture thingies. The animation will be subtitled later on, will it?

Man, that Ankama, where do they find the time?

Re: Talk about everything and nothing

Apparently! I remember when this scheme was announced, but I didn't know whether it was still running. Seems that it is. http://yooyahcloud.com/BIKESA/uQy38/249894_CityBikes_DLBrochure_v3.pdf However I cannot say it is as useful as your system because it closes after hours, so escaping the Adelaide ...

Whoa, a wild moderator appears, and order was restored ;D

Anyway, anyone get a chance to see that agricultural stuff going down on the Champs-Elysees?
If so what was it like?

Re: Maliki in English!

The translations have been good so far, all the meanings are easily conveyed. Something people have noticed with many translation projects based off internet communities these days is the tendency to put "chanspeak" in where-ever it might fit. I don't know if the game reference "Critical failure" is...

Re: Tutorials

That's a pity, it seems a shame that anyone might miss out on such a fundamental part of art practice when it's so easy to organise.... Simply collect enough interested people to hire out a space (or get it free if your council has such a policy), find a model, agree on a time, location and fee and ...

Inside Ankama #12

Highly Maliki related, including a little animated sequence of her... not enjoying her work environment, apparently.
I haven't the foggiest of what all that content (including Davy's quest to find her) was about beyond an advertisement for the books. Was that all or was there further announcements?
